Easter at Laythams
There is no better place to spend Easter 2018 than here at Laythams. There are a variety of activities and free events for the whole family to enjoy in Lancashire. With activities like Easter Egg Rolling, a traditional Easter Bonnet competition, live music and street theatre at Avenham & Miller Park, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!
Perhaps you’ll want to dig out your wellies and visit a real working farm, for example Mrs Dowson’s (350 acres) over in Clayton-le-Dale, Blackburn. With chick and bunny handling, farm talks, tractor rides and a live lambing event, this would be great fun for the young at heart! Admission is £4.95 per person, under twos go free.
Always wanted to visit the stunning Muncaster Castle? Children get in FREE when they bring their favourite teddy with them. Over the Easter weekend, there will be a giant Easter egg hunt. This will take place at 12:30 on Easter Sunday and again the following Monday. Make a day of it by watching the bird displays and explore the (haunted!) castle and gardens.
Finally, we can’t forget Blackpool’s traditional seaside resort with its vast array of activities including a theme park, shopping, theatre and arcades. There is something for everyone in sunny Blackpool. With a touch of spring in the air it is the perfect time to visit Lancashire and discover all that is on offer this Easter.
