"The house and David's support and communication were wonderful! We stayed a week with 3 couples, toured and walked the area, toured Liverpool, played golf and went to the British Open. What a beautiful setting. All the bedrooms are excellent and the kitchen is first class. We ate at all the local pubs, went to church in the village, and went to sleep every night to the soft sounds of the sheep nearby. David helped out at the last minute when we needed to print a form to get on a fancy golf course. Everything in the house worked and was very comfortable."
"We shared a family holiday here last weekend. The House is beautiful. Spacious and comfortable perfect for a large group. The Houses facilities made it a very pleasant and relaxed stay. You feel you are living in Luxury in a remote and beautiful part of the country. Short drives to Slaidburn and Clitheroe which are great places to visit both in there own way. And you can walk to other nearby villages, and lovely local pubs. David was on hand and dropped over when we needed him, a very accommodating host."
“Our stay was excellent, and was ideal as a family getaway. We were really impressed with the accommodation which was completed to a particularly high standard, clean and spacious. The sauna and hot tub were an added bonus to the enjoyment of our stay. The owner was attentive and available. We would certainly like to revisit the property in the near future and is highly recommended.”
"Had a great stay with the family. David is a great host and quick to respond. The house is also beautiful, in a stunning location. We felt the photos didn't do the the house justice. Overall can not recommend highly enough! Many Thanks"
"If you want a place to get away from everything then this place is perfect. It’s has amazing facilities for if you want to get away from it all. Hot tub, large kitchen, board games and big communal area. Host was welcoming and friendly. Cannot recommend it more."
"We had a great time at the Lakehouse, we were a group of 3 couples and there was plenty of room. The bedrooms were a great size and the hot tub and sauna were a highlight of the weekend (even in the rain!) We took a lovely walk to nearby villages - beautiful pubs nearby in totally unspoilt countryside. Couldn't recommend enough, we will be back!"
